That's Ken. He's not that blurry in real life.
Ken: Ken Rode, codename Rodeo [we were big on nicknames the my first year].
He started when I did, doing dish, but got
moved out to line way before I did. He's a
pretty solid worker, prone to getting off track mid-shift, but he knows what to
do and he's among th best we have left. He became an
RA in his thrid year, but still works in
the cafeteria for spending money, and to pay down the loans he's built up.
He's Tiffany's significant other, and on more than one
occasion I've subbed for him at an hour's notice so he could take her someplace,
which he greatly appreciates. Due to that and my "unparalleled skills" in the
cafeteria, he treats me as a great guy and almost acts as if he owes me something
significant. Always good to have people who feel indebted.
