Herbal V Orthodox Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843.The principles of Homeopathy was laid down by Hahnemann in the beginnings of the 19th century and have been in use with out revision for some 170 years of successful practice With all our modern miracle drugs , our sophisticated surgical procedures, our highly refined diagnostic tools, and our efficient and elaborately instrumented hospitals , the sad truth is that todays medicine may some times be no more effective for us than outdated practices of earlier times. What's more the very medical techniques in which our civilization takes so much pride are themselves producing new forms of illness, some of which are not recognized until large numbers of people have been exposed to there hazards. Today as in Hahnemann's time, the dangers of orthodox medical treatment can be traced in part to its focusing on isolated symptoms to the exclusion of all other facets of the patient's state of well-being. Similarly, orthodox medicine does not individualize the patient, but treats him as a "case" of a "disease", without regard for those aspects of the patient that differentiate him from all other cases of the same "disease". There is in all living things a tendency when we get ill to heal ourselves. When animals get sick they will go out and look for nature's things to heal them, sleep, and even change their diet to cure whatever is ailing them. Unfortunately man has lost this ability or has he just become more dependent; on the food in his modern civilization since his food sources have become so sharply limited by agriculture Further more man has contaminated his environment with toxic materials. That interferes with the harmonious curative forces of nature; and contaminated his own body; with drugs that may have implanted new forms of disease. As you saw earlier in Homeopathy the whole is treated not the disease, as what is making you ill could stem from many sources. So Homeopathy works in harmony with the body and natural healing process without having side effects, as so often happens with conventional medicine. I cannot say to you to forgo your doctor as it can work happily side by side; . But what I will say is "if it works for you use it". Side effects, with Homeopathy there are no side effects unlike conventional medicine. In a brief discussion with a doctor and my self his theory was "there are no side effects with herbal remedies because they don't work". This cannot be completely true as Homeopathy has been around for some 170 years. Modern drugs (and we spend millions on them each year) only suppress the symptom and not cure it, the pain has just been suppressed by the drug. Modern drugs can also cause diverse side effects one of the greatest right now penicillin wich is starting to cause many problems for a lot of people. These people have become allergic to penicillin and antibiotics, this brings us back to agriculture and the farming of animals, the antibiotics are given to the animal slaughtered then we eat them. This intern brings us back to diet just by changing your diet could have marked improvements in your health. One of the greatest criminals here is dairy produce, also tea, coffee, cafeen. Many people have actually been treated for caffeen adiction, which cause sleeplessness, hyperactivity and even aggression.
