Bollocks, Brighton and Barney...
Right then lads and ladesses where did I leave you last time? Aha I remember....this is my first entry!
So, this week was letting out time at the institution, and oh what mayhem was caused.
The weekend started with a trip to the Apollo(the theatre not the space rocket...) to see Daniel in action. Dave was too lazy to come(isn't he always though?) but Crystal and I lapped up the Daniel loving.
After 2 hours of Daniel and 1 alcomoholic beverage Crystal decided to share her love of Westside with the world. As we patiently queued for our plastic burgers and fries Crystal announced to the world that she had indeed been to see Westside 28,000 times. 28,000 times the drunken man in the queue laughed, I joined in his laughter and shouted "bollocks". Not sure why. It just seemed appropriate at the time...
The next morning after a peaceful rest at the Crystal household we started on our journey to sunny Brighton.
After a quick, what they like to call text message(technology these days astounds me!), it was clear Dave was coming late(isn't he always though?) so a quick pop into the local Wetherspoons establishment to check their prices were still cheap were in order, purely for research reason of course.
A few swift drinks later though and we were on our way. There was a small tear in my eye as we sped through London baby with Flying Without Bling blaring on the stereo. There was many a jealous look on the motorway as we sped past people, some even took the time to wave at us, although waving in London seems very different to how they do it my way...
Soon we were in Brighton, and once again for research purposes went to check out the drink prices on the pier with Pierre. We were fully satisfied with their prices so another round was in order just for continuity in our research.
The excitement was growing as we were off to see McFly that night. Although I was a little concerned they might be gutted that Charlie left. The excitement was helped along with some more research into drink prices(yes Wetherspoons wins).
Arriving at the concert in the front room of somebodys house I was dismayed to find we were indeed at Westside and not McFly as I'd previously hoped. "Bollocks" I shouted to anyone who would listen, "I want my money back". Ah no my memory is going, I started shouting that AFTER the show.
Soon, after a few naps, feeling fully refreshed, the show was over and it was out on the town for the members of the institute. But it was not to be. It would have been easier finding Barney's donkey(it is not his, it's his Uncle Dennis' but came to Barney's residence as it was sick) on the seafront, than a club open.
First though, Crystal had to give the Westside vechicle a quick flash of her headlights. Much enjoyment for all involved. This was shortly lived though as it was a bit nippy on the seafront...
We then piled into the local chippy, who still seemed a little wide-eyed from the previous flashing of headlights. I hoped for a free sausage for their enjoyment but they weren't playing. So instead we trooped back to the hotel. Although before heading to bed we did a short tour of the hotel. We were little 'angels' though.
Until next week, goodbye from the institute with only thought in mind......
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MANDY, YOU CAME AND YOU ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
