Inuyasha

Inuyasha

Inuyasha is the co-main charecter of this show he is a grouchy little half demon whos out to get the shikon jewel so he can become a full demon.

Kagome

Kagome is the other co-main charecter she is a 15 year old girl that lives in a temple in japan in current time. she accidently falls into the well at the temple and is transported back to the feudal era of japan where she "meets" inuyasha and the quest kinda goes on from there but with more details.

Shippo

Shippo is a little fox demon i don't know whether he is a full demon or not but i don't think he is. He stays with Inuyasha and Kagome after they help him to avenge his fathers death by the Thunder Brothers Hiten and Manten.

Miroku the Monk

Miroku is a monk with a curse, the evil bad guy in the story stabbed a hold in Mirokus fathers hand creating a black hole, this curse passed down from father to son and if Miroku does not eventually destroy Naraku(the bad guy) the wind tunnel will eventually suck him into is as well. Miroku is a wee bit on the horny side (especially seeing how he is a monk and all) and had a tendancy to ask every woman or girl he meets(except Sango) if they will be the mother of his children, this seems to be a back up plan incase he doesn't manage to destroy Naraku.

Sango

Sango is a demon exterminator from a whole village of them who were destroyed by Naraku after bein tricked by Naraku and almost killing Inuyasha she goes back over to the good side and joins them in the quest to kill Naraku to avenge her village and try and save her little brother Kohaku.

Kilala

Kilala is Sango's pet cat with two tails, Kilala can turn into a giant fiery flying cat demon in case of a fight.

Kikyo

Preistess who fell in love with Inuyasha then was tricked into betraying him and killing him, died from wounds gained in the trick part of the betrayal (she beleived that Inuyasha had attacked her for the Shikon no Tama).
Kikyo is resurrected by a witch named Urasue using her bones, ashes and soil from her grave (and some of Kagome because she is Kikyo's reincarnated soul) because she wanted Kikyo to collect the shards for her.

Sesshomaru

Inuyashas full demon half brother. Weilds the tensaiga wants the tetsaiga.
Kagura the Wind Demon-has control of wind killed most of Koga's pack.
Kanna-She has a mirror that can suck in any human's soul, then using it to manipulate the human's body
Goshinkishi-broke the Tetsaiga with his teeth, Later his teeth were used to make Sesshomaru's new sword Toukijin.
Juuroumaru and Kageroumaru- Kageroumaru is the brain of Juuroumaru, they are very fast. Kageroumaru is inside of the body of Juuroumaru, and when he opens the mouth, Kageroumaru gets out of his body.

Naraku

Formerly the human Onigumo, Naraku is hundreds of demons all meshed together in one he wants the Shikon Jewel as well (though at the moment i cant remember why) he took the form of a prince though he is a shapeshifter. When he goes out of his illusory palaces to a confrontation or just to play with peoples heads he wears a creepy white baboon skin thing.

Koga

A wolf demon who decideds that Kagome is his woman. Koga has jewel shards in both his legs to give him extra power, he is super fast and seems to be able to create a whirlwind, he might also have one in one arm or that could have been a fake one i cant remember (dammit).

Kaede

Kikyos younger sister (now in her 60's or so)

Myoga

An annoying little flea that shows up when everythings safe to give semi reliable advice then splits at the first sign of danger. Possibly his servant appointed to him by his father (like Sesshomaru's Jaken).
