Favorite Movies, etc...

Entertainment I find....entertaining, These are all my favorites.

* Movies *

Legend -(a mystical plot between good and evil with Tim Curry as Satan. This is my all-time favorite movie)

Labyrinth -(You have to see it to really understand it, but David Bowie is in it...yay.)

The Crow -(dead guy, crow, gothy. That's all you need to know to think it rules. Stars Brandon Lee.)

Thirteen Ghosts -(Wow, is all I can say. Excellent make-up for all those brutally violent ghost characters. Big machine designed by satan that contains the 12 most violent ghosts in the world, which opens the eye of hell and gives anyone controlling the machine to have all the power in the world. The Angry Princess is cool, and naked the whole time. Matthew Lillard is geeky and psychic in this movie.)

Ghost World -(I love this movie. Thora Birch rules me. It's a bit confusing though, and I really don't know how to explain it.)

The Ninth Gate -(Satanic ritual based movie about The Book of the Nine Gates of the Shadow Kingdom, a demonic manuscript capable of summoning the devil. Johnny Depp gets to face murder, theft, satanic ritual and the devil incarnate.)

Princess Mononoke -(Mmm. Anime. I love anime. This is my favorite Anime beside Urusei Yatsura. This young warrior is infected with a disease caused by hate, and in order to rid himself of it, he ends up having to save a girl who was raised by wolves and an entire forest. Stars the voices of Gillian Anderson, Claire Danes and Billy Bob Thornton.)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone -(Nearly everyone knows this whole plot, but needless to say it was an INCREDIBLE movie.)

Tomb Raider -(Mm. Angelina Jolie. Anyway, excellent movie, fast moving plot, and sarcastic, techie, British side-kick guy. "I found it last night. It was ticking." "Hm...Must be one of those ticking clocks, eh?" Angelina finds a clock that is capable of letting her control time, if she uses it to find two pieces of a triangle. Her enemy gets it, violence entails, and good wins in the end.)

Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 -(Surprisingly excellent. Muuuuuuuuuuuuch better than the first.)

The Nightmare Before Christmas -(Quite possibly my favorite Tim Burton Movie. Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween town is trying to find his old self by hyjacking Christmas. Of course it goes terribly wrong...)

Final Destination -(A movie about death's plan for everyone. A boy has a dream while on a plane *before take-off* that the plane will explode. He spazzes to say the least and several of his friends, and a few enemies, are forced off the plane....which shortly after taking off, explodes. He learns to pay attention to death's plans and hints at what will occur next, but by the end, realizes he won't be able to dodge death forever...because the plan goes in circles...)

Stigmata -(Movie about...well...Stigmata. Frankie Paige is an athiest who, after being sent a cross bought by her mother in Rome, begins to recieve the wounds Christ was given when crucified. A priest becomes involved with Frankie's affliction, and in the end the entire thing rocks the very foundation of the Catholic Church.)

The Craft -(Four girls, including Faruza Balk...drool....become involved in Witchcraft *the fakey evil kind.* One goes psycho. 'Nuff said.)

And last but not least...
Ginger Snaps -(Two teenage girls, Ginger and Brigitte, who believe it's better to kill themselves than grow up, are obsessed with death and violence. There are animal deaths occurring in their neighborhood caused by a werewolf, and when Ginger gets her rag, the werewolf, smelling blood, attacks her. Ginger begins turning into a vampire type creature, and even her sister Brigitte can't save her.)
