A Note on VC:
What was fun about VC was the silent agreement to NOT preconceive any songs or have any rules, but simply respond to what was in the air at the moment. Only the "cream of the crop" was repeated later. In only a few cases was the repetition better than the original, imo, where anyone was lucky enough to remember the settings. I also took the (not always successful) approach of "stay the hell out of the way and let Pat be Pat." This worked often. Mostly, it was just fun to record with someone that had the unique combination of creativity and talent as Pat did. Now, I'm glad it happened.

This was the last attempt to reproduce something in the style of Wideminder.
It was a cassette tape w/ about 6 songs on it Pat intended everyone to add something to.
This was the first unfinished song on that tape:

This is because there are over 12,874 million 4-track tapes that Pat left that no one other than himself has ever heard, not to mention the undroppable 16-track song collection. Stay tuned!

A note about the background photo.
This is from the recent Venus transit over the sun. This won't happen again until 2117, another 105 years from now. If someone like Pat happens again between now and then, the earth will be very lucky indeed. So I thought the rare photo fit an extremely rare, open-minded person.
