Girl power? You tell us. There's a new all-girl punk band out there, "The Plain Janes." These four power-punk gals, coming from Columbus Ohio, have been a band since 1996. They are ready to make all-male punk bands make a run for the money. In an interview in Punktastic Magazine, lead singer, Charlotte stated: "We're not out to make guy punk bands like us because we like punk. We're out to inform them girls can be just as punk as guys!" Watch out all you punker boys, we think they mean business. Along with Charlotte, the remaining band members are: guitarist Starr, bassist Violet, and drummer Isabella. Their album, "Up The Punk Girls!" features songs such as "I'm Too Me For Punk," "Plain's in My Veins," and "Dorks Are Sexy." Currently touring with another all-girl punk band, "Girl Breaks Lollipop," recently releasing a video for the first single off their album, "It's Hard to Fight When All I Wanna Do is Have Fun," TPJ is sure to live up to their words! Check them out today!
