I have fairly unusual music tastes. I hate to be predictable. So my top five groups of all time are Nirvana, Green Day, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blink 182 and Iron Maiden. Nirvana is classic. They were and still are one of the most original and inventive bands of all time. They helped bring alternative music into the mainstream which meant it was easier for people to access. Green Day is punk at it's best. They actually seem to have fun with their music then just trying to churn out number ones. Red Hot Chilli Peppers are good too although they are starting to border of commercialised. Their best album in my opinion is Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic. However they seem to be flogging their new album, By the Way for all it's worth. Not cool guys! Blink 182 again was better before it became too commercialised. Saying that Enema of the State was a great album. However by the time take off your pants and jacket came out I was personally already going off them. And I love punk music! They only just managed to get in my five because they again seem to have fun with the music. Finally Iron Maiden may seem a bit over but after having to listen to it none stop at my boyfriend's house you start to like it. Especially the guitar solos! My secret shame I like Christina. Ssh! Don't tell anyone!
