ASCII art is art formed by using the characters (numbers and letters etc.)
generated by your keyboard.Its a great way to send low bandwith
pictures over email, posting on a newsgroup, on a webpage, or
whatever you want :).ASCII art is creatable on any operating system
and all you need to view or create it is a text editor, like Notepad.
I first started making art this way
when I was running my first talker and I wanted something more
displayed to a user than just plain word descriptions.
Its a fun way to make art, though its more of a challange
than you might think, because of the limitations of the
shapes of the characters you use to make your drawing.

The art here is colored, this is one advantage of html
over plain text with ASCII art (though uncolored
text also looks good).

You are welcome to use the art on this site, but 
please leave my signature "FinnO", this is how
Im known usually online and its how I choose to sign my art.
Removing a signature from a piece of ASCII art is considered
very bad manners, so please dont do it.

Make sure that your browser is set to a 
fixed-width font such as Courier or Fixed-Sys. 
Otherwise, this ASCII Art may look skewed or distorted.
