Lots of people wonder why we say Jeff is the last hope for mankind (and by that I mean the gender, not all of the human race). Why is he so special? What makes him different from other guys? They have obviously not met Jeff in person.
First of all, Jeff is super smart. His intellect puts him ahead of most guys, who think with the parts of their bodies that don't contain brains. Jeff is not only smart (he scored a perfect score on the Math MCAS and over 1400 on his SATS), but also modest. He doesn't brag about his accomplishments, and never tries to act superior to everyone. That is reason #1 why we love Jeff and he is superior to all other guys (a fact that embarrasses him constantly).
Jeff always knows what to say. Most male friends (and we have many) will say the worst possible thing at the worst possible time. For example, calling an anorexic friend fat or an insecure friend stupid and ugly. But Jeff is not guilty of these crimes. Jeff will always say the perfect thing, such as "You're a great person" "I love you" or "Do you want me to kill Danny for you?". This is reason #2 why we love Jeff and he is the only hope for mankind.
Which brings us to reason #3 and our favorite reason of all. Jeff really really hates Danny. Danny is one of those people who you can't remember becoming friends with and can't get rid of, no matter how badly he treats you. Jeff offers to beat him up with regularity, and he will blame everything on Danny. For instance, once we felt very badly for tricking Danny into thinking we all loved him and Jeff said Danny really asked for it and actually made us feel better. We love Jeff.
Speaking of Danny, reason #4 why we love Jeff is that Jeff wouldn't stop talking to friends because of his girlfriend. When Danny's psychotically insecure girlfriend got jealous of all of the female friends he had, he took her side and stopped talking to everyone. When Jeff's girlfriend told him to choose between his female friends and herself, he calmly explained that she should trust him and his friends, and that we had been friends long before their relationship and that was a fact she'd have to accept.
For all of these reasons and more, we love Jeff. That is why some zealous members of the group call him "God" and we all think of him as the last hope for mankind. Anyone who has met him will understand.
