This was Sakuragi Hanamichi's first time of the year at the Zoo. "Ooooh! Look at the blue hedgehog!" Akagi Haruko said, pointing at Sonic the hedgehog who was trapped inside the zoo cage. "Ah, yes!" Sakuragi replied, nodding his head vigorously, smiling. He was so happy to be with his dear beautiful Haruko.
Just then, Rukawa Kaede walked towards them. He looked blankly at Sonic. "Rukawa...." whispered Haruko to herself, her eyes turning into the shape of hearts. "Ah! Haruko!" Sakuragi cried, feeling jealousy surged through him. He pulled Haruko away to look at some other animals in the zoo.
"Strange animal," commented Rukawa. "Do you know you're looking at Sonic the hedgehog?!?" cried Sonic. Rukawa stared the the mysterious blue hedgehog. He doesn't understand English. Only Japanese. "Very strange," Rukawa said, and walked off.
"I can't stay in this stupid cage! I hate Station Square! They betrayed me and put me in here! I'm getting out!" yelled Sonic, and broke the cage's door with his spin dash attack. He ran out of the cage. Realizing he didn't know the way out, he started running in circles.
A blue blur passed Sakuragi and Haruko. "Oh no! An animal has escaped!" cried Haruko. "Don't worry! I'll help to catch the animal and put it back into its cage!" Sakuragi said, and started running after Sonic. "Sakuragi! The animal might be dangerous!" cried Haruko, panicked. "Sakuragi!" Haruko called after Sakuragi and tried to catch up.
Rukawa stared at a pink hedgehog who was sleeping. He poked at the animal twice. "What do you think you're doing?" cried Amy Rose the pink hedgehog as she managed to deliver a slap at Rukawa's face even though she was behind bars. A red hand mark was printed on his face. Rukawa glared at the pink hedgehog.
Silence.
All of a sudden, he started trying to punch Amy Rose continuesly. The cage's door was rattling violently. "Someone help me! Innocent creature under attack!" cried Amy Rose, franticly waving her arms about.
"Hmm... a black striped hedgehog," said Mitsui as he inspected the board that had the details of this utterly strange creature. "I'm not a hedgehog! I'm the world's ultimate life form! My name is Shadow," said Shadow angrily, crossing his arms. "Oh wow! That must be some recording for extra information! Too bad I don't understand English," Mitsui said. "I speak Japanese too you pathetic creature!" said Shadow in Japanese. Mitsui blinked. "Am I dreaming?" he wondered.
Mitsui looked at his watch. "Oh no! The zoo is going to close within a few minutes! I better get going!" he said, as he started to walk out of the zoo. On his way, he noticed two policemen arresting Rukawa for destroying zoo property, and Sakuragi chasing after a blue blur, followed by Haruko calling after Sakuragi.
"Oh bother! That was tiring! Chasing after Sakuragi!" panted Haruko, as she laid down on her soft bed. She looked at the cold moon that was outside her bedroom window before drifting to slumber.
The moon was watching Hanamichi chasing after a blue hedgehog. "Darn! Doesn't that red-haired guy ever give up?" wondered Sonic, getting tired. Sonic was about to change his direction of running, but he tripped over a stone. "Ha! I got you now!" Sakuragi said happily, as he caught Sonic the hedgehog.
"Haruko! I caught the animal on the loose!" Sakuragi cried happily. No answer. Just crickets chirping. "Haruko! Oh no! She's gone!" cried Sakuragi. He hurried to the zoo entrance, but to his horror, the gates were heavily locked and chained! Sakuragi tried to pry open the gates but failed.
"Stupid
gates!" cried Sakuragi Hanamichi, kicking the gates. The gates rattled
violently and an alarm went off. "Uh oh." More gates appeared, closing
and shutting tightly the entrance. Sakuragi looked up the the starry night and
cried,
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
The next day, people came to the zoo. They looked at many different types of animals and took photographs.
Rukawa and Sakuragi were sitting down in the same cage, labled "Aggressive Animals"

Epilogue:
"I'm hungry! Doesn't the zoo feed us if they don't free us??" cried Sakuragi Hanamichi, shaking the bars. "Here you go," said the zoo keeper, handing Sakuragi and Rukawa each a banana. Sakuragi greedily ate his banana and looked at Rukawa. Rukawa was staring at the banana in his hands. Staring. And Staring. And Staring.
"Since you're not going to eat that, I'll take that," Sakuragi said, snatching the banana from Rukawa's hands and was about to eat it. "What do you think you're doing, idiot?" Rukawa said, and grabbed the banana. But Sakuragi wouldn't let go. "You didn't want to eat it!" cried Sakuragi, tugging hard.
The banana slipped out of both of their hands. Knuckles the echidna, who was in the same cage, took the banana and ate it.
