Level Select
Go to the 'options' menu and select sound test. Play songs 19, 65, 09 and
17. Press the 'start' and the console should reset. Hold down the 'A' button
through the reboot and enter a normal one player game.
Debug Mode
To use this code, you must have activated the level select code. If you
haven't, do so now, by reading the previous code. Alright, first, play the
following songs in the level select mode: 1,9,9,2,1,1,2 and 4. Put your
highlight on the level you want and press 'A' and 'start' at the exact same
time. If accessed correctly, you should be able to create an sprite by
pressing 'C', become a sprite by pressing 'B' and alternate sprites by
pressing 'A'.
Super Sonic
On the level select menu, navigate to 'sound test' and play songs 04, 01, 02
and 06. Choose any level and collect 50 rings. You should turn into Super
Sonic. *Note: Even though Super Sonic is invincible to enemies, he can still
drown and be crushed.*
Play in the dark
Hold the 'C' button down on the level select menu
Hyper Sonic
To do this code you need to be in the debug mode. In the level select, go to
Oil Ocean Zone 2. Proceed through the level until you see the green jet
springs. Jump onto the very last one and hold the right button. You will
impact some spikes and get stuck into a wall. Jump out of this wall and you
should turn into Hyper Sonic.
Ashura the Hedgehog
You need to have debug mode activated to do this. First, turn into a
waterfall and start placing as many objects as you can. When the Sonic life
icon turns green, the code has been activated. Turn into Sonic again and get
out of the area. You should be a green Sonic, most likely Ashura the
Hedgehog.
Super Tails
Hit a transfer box monitor while in debug mode as Super Sonic. This will
transfer your energy to Tails. Tails will move super fast, and will have the
magic stars circling around him.
