Paper Swan

Well being the intelligent, brilliant and cultural people that we are we know some oragami lol, so i decided to try, and I emphasise the word TRY here, to explain how to make some pretty little paper animals :) I'm not sure how much of a success this will be but, i'll have a go anyway :)

How to Make a Paper Swan

O.k to start with you need a square piece of paper (if you haven't got a square one just cut up an A4 piece), right, got your paper? Good, now turn it on it's side, like this

Now, fold it in half and then unfold it again so that you have a groove going from top to bottom. Next fold the two side corners into the middle so they touch the groove

Then fold the bottom piont up so that you make a triangle ...

and turn the pice of paper over.

Next fold the top point down so that it just about touches the bottom of the triangle (to form the neck).

Now, fold a little bit of the end of that point back up (this will be the head) ...

and fold the whole thing in half again.

Now, look at it from the side. it kinda looks like a swan, but with it's neck resting on its back. Pull the neck up.

  Then pull the head up.

And, vwalla! YOU HAVE A SWAN!! *claps*

Now, you can draw a little face and wings on him :)

Well I hope you understood at least some of that and that your swan is not to deformed lol :)
