Draig This is Draig our adopted dragon!!
Two years ago Draig was soaring over the valleys of Wales looking for some stupid, unsuspecting sheep to play a prank on when it started to rain. Draig thought nothing of it, as if it's not raining in Wales there's usually something wrong, and carried on flying, however, the rain soon became a storm and Draig was blown off course! After fighting to stay in the air for hours and desperately looking for a flat place to land (an impossibility in Wales) Draig was finally struck by lightning. He woke up two days later in a strange and unfamiliar place with a broken wing and smelling of roast chicken. What was this strange new land?? It looked like Wales but it was slightly colder, had less sheep, there were men wearing skirts everywhere and there was a big lake next to him. He asked the monster in the lake, who's name was nessy, how to get home but couldn't understand a word that she said, in fact he couldn't understand what anybody in this new world said, they all kept calling him a 'bonny laddy'. It wasn't for several months later that the 'Adopt a Dragon Foundation' stumbled across him eating a sheep's stomach, fixed his wing and took him home with them. We met Draig at the 'Adopt a Dragon Foundation'. We went there...well...to...uh...adopt a dragon lol :) We chose to adopt Draig because he was the coolest dragon at the foundation, all the others were really quiet and seemed pretty shy but not Draig! He was cracking jokes with us and telling us of all the pranks he'd played on the other dragons, he even loves wrestling and can skateboard!! Well, we got all the paper work sorted out, brought our new friend home and christened him DRAIG (welsh for dragon). He settled in right away and know he's part of da team lol he's always playing practical jokes, coming up with crazy stories and just acting plain whacky! HE FITS IN PERFECTLY!!
