![]() You release your hold on reality and allow the Wraith to take you to the one who inhabits this dark hollow. But before it has taken you through a few paces of forest, you are pulled out of the shadows and you stand at the feet of a stone temple. It reminds you of a greek construct. The two columns on each side of the entrance are decorated with two rearing deer "holding" them up. As you step up on the marble stairs, you notice the other columns surround the temple are enslaved by serpents. The center of the floor is a pool filled with a thick-looking red liquid and on the ceiling directly above it is a portrait of four cryptic riders on four very different steeds. The pool has four statue at each point; a deer, a lion, a horse and a Phoenix. A snort directs your attention straight ahead of you. Your eyes widen at the black figure that rears up with a ferocious, echoing, roar-like neigh. He carries his head rigid and high as he rises up and calls out to you. He holds this stance for a moment, then falls halfway, posing for you to admire him. ![]() ![]() He settles when he decides you've had your fill. Now his white eyes stare you much like the crow you had met earlier. His eyes though are not empty but filled beyond imagination with horrors and bloodlust and wisdom. You shudder suddenly which forces you to look away. He does seem to see you but rather sees who you are. You realize what is on his head... Deer skull his voice thrums in your mind like the last note of a well-played symphony. It is a macabre song, his voice, deep yet alluring. Soft yet thunderous. He dips his head. I am Abyss Deceiving Lost Soul. First Frondari to inhabit the Shadow Realm but second in the full Realm of Lady Reaper. All you notice are his brilliant white wings with their charcoal tips, settling along his lean body. He flicks his tail simultaneously with flexing his ears back, demonstrating his dislike for company. Still his eyes dart about wildly despite his calm demeanour. What sends chills through your soul is that calmness, it's disquieting; the same uneasy feeling that has filled you since you stepped out of that portal. Too calm. ![]() He snorts. There is no point for you to stay here, Wandering-Spirit. You came here with the soul purpose to torment and butcher an already broken heart. Leave now, Wandering-Spirit or I will make you leave. Not wishing to provoke the entity, you stagger back. Slowly, watching his tail and feathering dance in a phantom breeze, you walk out of the temple. You sigh in relief when the eerie light is no longer around you but ahead of you, beaming out from between the columns of the grand house of the lost one. You shake your head clear of whatever gripped tightly to your soul and continue your reversed walk aimlessly. You bump into something and, fearing the worst, cower in place. ![]() "Have you no shame, not facing your fears? A familiar voice melodically whispers, yet it is not a whisper for you hear her clearly. You turn and are about to bestow a thousand thanks on Lady Reaper until she holds a finger to her lips; shushing you before you speak. Beneath her hood, you know the cat-morph is staring right passed you to the temple and close your eyes with a harsh swallow. You hear the hoofbeats approaching. Abyss Deceiving appears in your mind, pounding furiously in your head as he is doing to the ground behind you. You feel his presence growing from behind you until he is standing next to you and you know it. You refuse to open your eyes and merely stand their, bracing against what might happen. "Eyes open, Fair One" You obey Lady Reaper without question. Standing next to her is the Frondari, dark and foreboding; a wisdom beyond his time dotting him like dew on a black rose. She smiles and strokes his cheek. In your mind, you hear them speaking; Abyss Deceiving apparently unaware of your eavesdropping. I will quiet your unsettled spirits, Phantom It is not my spirit you should be silencing but that one's. What audacity do you allow to pass your gates and to mine? Abyss Deceiving cries out menacingly at you, revealing a set of sharp teeth despite clearly being mostly equine. Seeing his discomfort with your presence, Lady Reaper places one hand on his cheek, the other under his lip and rests her forehead against his. After a moment's silence, she steps away and to you. "Forgive me, Fair One, but Abyss Deceiving is a little more disgruntled by visitors. I'll have to escort you home" she smiles somewhat sheepishly yet remains collected as you expect no less from her. With a nod you follow, leaving the lonely figure of Abyss Deceiving Lost Soul. ![]() You hear a howling whinny and the vanishing hoofbeats of the lost one. ![]() Shadow Realm Entrance Lady Reaper |

| Notes | His white eyes are the mutation. He cannot see as you and I see, but sees the "souls" of living entities; a myriad of color, pattern and design each a signature to a particular being. Even the earth gives off a signature, but he rarely, if ever, uses the energy to see more than he has to. |
