 From the portal, you follow Lady Reaper through The Ferral Plains in hopes of meeting one of the inhabitants. She weaves through black maples: A type of tree with black-violet bark that wipes off like ash from a fire. The trifoliate leaves are a deep, dark blood red overshadowed by black veins. They fit in perfectly in this valley of constant shadowed skies and hunter green grass. Lady Reaper's voice startles you out of your scenery gazing. 
"I was lucky enough to impress Eyo, Keeper of Zykiox, and was granted a Kyat. A baby Lynxx, to not put to fine a point on it. I ask you to be very quiet, no sudden movements, no loud noises, he may be newborn but he'll probably tear you a new..." She stops short and extends her arm to stop you. You follow her path of sight to a tiny bundle nestled in a place of feathers, fur and leaves.The helpless creature is a mix of black and white, like the sky, and it moves a little in its sleep. You remain quite still as Lady Reaper moves closer to it and settles down next to him. She strokes his fine head with three fingers and smiles. "Leave to me to bond with a creature that will probably try to rip of my face when it's older." The felines laughs under her breath. "Feros is a Dark Lynxx. A breed known for its savage temperament. He's quite harmless now as a Kyat, but like alligators, he's gonna grow." Still smiling, Lady Reaper sends you off with the thought of what your next visit will be like.
