Hissing...? You turn your head to come eye to eye with a fairly large snake. It opens its jaw and hisses wildly in your face. It takes your mind about two-point-two seconds to register this and, without knowing it, your legs have already started running. You clear a fair bit of ground before you slow to a brisk trot. You were never really terrified of snakes, but that was just uncalled for. The little voice you ignored is now laughing at you and you begin your quiet walk again. You feel slightly sheepish and thank the humourless skies, that not a soul seen your little episode. As though seeking to avenge a creature of its trees, you hear laughter from the rainforest shadows. A Leagus trots out of the jungle, allowing herself to laugh hysterically in your face.   She tosses her head back. "My great apologies, tee-hee, Wanderer," she snickers, "I've just never seen someone run so fast from a harmless tree snake". She nearly falls back on her haunches in another loud fit of laughter. You cross your arms trying to hold on to your pride though you feel it slowly ebbing away with every snort and chuckle from the mare. You notice, to your great relief, the Leagus composes herself and clears her throat after one last giggle. "My name is Rhapsody Muse, or just Anupa, and I am not the only one here." She smiles deviously and before you can react to her mischievious statement something tackles you to the ground. You blink and gaze up at an orange Leagus.  The stallion gazes back at you with a toothy grin as he trots proudly around you. "Greetings," he chuckles, "I am Aurous Reverie, better known as Kenichi, care for a game of tag?" You are about to respond when the two suddenly bound off. They leave you in the clearing on your own, their laughter echoing together in a happy, chiming melody yet something unsettles you. You snort and trudge off back the way you came. A flash of light stops you and you gaze up at the sky. A strange sound ripples through the trees and rain instantly drenches you. You glare the humourless skies... yes, humourless indeed.
