You continue through the valley keeping alongside the lake. You notice the odd birch-like tree here and there. The white bark of the scraggily trees dots the Valley more frequently as you near the mountains on the gradual slope upward. You'd have quite a bit to go before leaving the valley at this point. You're so busy looking around that you bump into something. It moves and you stagger back. Just as you're about to hit the water your shirt snags on something. You're pulled forward and saved from a most frigid bath! ![]() You smile gratefully at the lavender and green Wynd. He bows to you and sways his lion tail. "Much too cold for a dip today traveller!" The stallion smiles at you warmly. His voice is very melodic, very gentle. "I am Song of Peace." He bows low, gracefully, in a single sweeping motion then fixes his turquoise eyes on you. "So what brings you here?" Song of Peace queries with his soft, rhythmic voice. You explain to him that you met with Lilly and wanted to meet the Wynds of the Realm. He nods and signals you to follow him with a bob of his head. His ears bounce as he trots along and you realize he's not letting his hooves hit the earth. His gleaming green wings are giving him just a little levitation to allow him to glide quietly to your destination. You notice a nook in a rocky outcropping. The stone has a strange metallic blue shine to it much like the underground caves. These stones have a rough texture with only a few sleek spots and seem somewhat darker. A soft, sleepy nicker turns your attention to what is slumbering deeply within the shelter of the outcrop. ![]() The Wynd is purely green. Her horn and hooves gleam bright white. The mare is sleeping very soundly seemingly dreaming by the sounds of her occasional quiet thrums. Curled up in the moss and a nest of feathers, she shifts in her sleep and rolls over on her side. You catch the shine of a smile on her lips as her fluffy mane blankets the ground. A nudge against your elbow gets your attention. Song of Peace leads you away from the sleeping one until he's satisfied neither of you will wake her. "That was Jewel of Evergreen. A very rare solid Wynd of Change. A very beautiful mare indeed." He gives you a smile and you continue.
