You follow Lady Reaper down the path through the forest, admiring the entwined trees reminding you of a jigsaw puzzle. The moon is round and shining its silver light on the two of you throwing your shadows eerily on the ground. You notice the air is getting colder and before you know it your treading in three-inched of freshly fallen snow. You look at the blanket of white crystals in simple bewilderment and Eve laughs lightly. "Don't you love sudden environment changes? Like I said, Magick is everywhere in these parts." She smiles and a hooting sound echoes from the trees. A dozen or more little finches scatter to the skies and an enormous white figure follows them. It appears that its wings are on fire as it soars down to the two of you. It hoots longingly before landing on Eve's outstretched arm.
Snowflakes of Fire, Wind Messenger Windskrae from The Realm of Myth and Fantasy she bows her head after her formal introduction. Eve smiles and strokes the Windskrae's soft chest feathers. You hear the batting of wings come from behind you, not so melodic but rapdily, feverishly beating. You turn to see a smaller owl-like Windskrae coming towards you.
He circles above you keeping you mesmerized by the contrast of him and the dark, star-studded sky. He then suddenly vanishes. Eve laughs lightly. "Winter Sage has the power of short distance teleportation. He loves to play with visitors" You smile and take a deep breath. You nod to Snowflakes of Fire as she takes to the wing. Eve leads you to a path which obviously will take you home.
