Following the pathway around more wall debris and many, many flowers, you ask Lady Reaper why the courtyard looks so strangely dishevelled despite the fact she lives here. "That's simple, traveller. The courtyard walls were never meant to stand. They were erected by ancient magic and aged much faster because of it. They look like old ruins because they were meant to be. I'm only a catalyst for the realm, the shape it takes isn't entirely up to me." Swaying her tail, the feline-morph continued passed a crumbled wall. Truly, the courtyards were a kind of pastel ruin overgrown with various plants.
As you continue on, something buzzes passed your ear. Instinctively, you turn your head to the left but there's nothing. The buzz flies by your right ear and you turn again. Then it comes from the left, no the right, no wait it was the left... You spin around in a circle and huff. Lady Reaper giggle and you glare at her. Undaunted, she holds out her finger and a little green creature lands on her hand. It wraps its long tail around her wrist and part of her arm. Its wings continue to flutter rapidly, buzzing away, but it finally calms and sits down."This little dragon fly calls himself Kovu." Lady Reaper smiles. Kovu's four insect wings buzz rhytmically, almost like a purr, as she rubs her finger up and down his nose. You manage to get quite close to Lady Reaper before Kovu opens his eyes wide and stares at you anxiously. His wings buzz and you move no further. From this close however, you can admire his smooth emerald scales.
A welcoming whinny attracts your attention and the dragon fly flits over to the shying pegasus."Why look who's actually here to visit us. Her curiosity must've gotten the best of her. Nyela usually doesn't venture out from the shadows of the hedge maze especially not in broad daylight!" Lady Reaper is absolutely delighted as the pegasus approaches her. With a flick of her wrist an apple materializes in her hand and she offers it to the pegasus. Sniffing the red fruit warily, she hesitates no further in taking a big bite of the treat. You wisely choose not to approach the skittish pegasus but merely admire her from where you stand. Her buckskin coat gleams and offers a nice contrast to her startingly white mane and tail. Her wings, the colour of blue jays, remain neatly folded to her sides. Every so often her dark green eyes dart up and watch you as she eats. "Nyela is usually very shy but I suppose she feels adventurous today since Kovu is out and about." As Lady Reaper says this, Kovu crawls up her one arm and down the arm feeding the pegasus. He hops from her wrist and buzzes over to Nyela's shoulder. Finishing her treat, the mare jumps up a little with a quiet whinny, spreads her wings and trots away. "Kovu and Nyela are both from The Nameless Forest. A few more creatures from there make their home in the courtyards. Would you like to meet them?"
