The build.
I began by cutting out the 6061 1/16" al (Thanks to my Uncle, Dave Stemmler) and mounting the lifting servo to it.
Now, unfortunately, I did not document this bot completely so I'll give as much information as possible. For drive, it uses two hacked HS-225 servos connected to 2" wheels mounted with zipties and velcro. I used an R12d7f Fm reciever nounted with velcro. For the battery,I was originally going to use a nive 6 volt but discovered it weighed to much and went back to the litihums (MAN THESE ARE THE BEST). For the lifting servo, I used a GWS high torque servo mounted with velcro and some steel strapping. For the Lifting arm, I used a bent cover thing off of the back of my computer. FOr the armour, i used 1/64" 6061 Al. This is only slightly thicker then a pop can. MAkes you wonder how it could have held up to One Fierce Beer Coaster.
Here I merely Painted High Sticking. He weighs in at just ender a pound (according to my scale... turns out it was wrong at the competition.)

During the November competition the clamping arm was removed due to SUCKINESS. It actually cost me a couple matches. (5-5 at RR2) Anyways, I upgraded it to have a new lifting arm. IT competed at my event in January placing 2nd.

High Sticking has been dissasembled because I really didnt like the way the bot ran after the November RR.

Thats it for High Sticking!
