HI! I'm stag_fighter!!!

Hi! I'm stag_fighter. You may think that name is for a boy Ixi... but I'm a girl Ixi. I just don't like the stags... they think they know everything! I tell you they don't. Lucky, I've never had to live with any boy Ixi's, as weirdo_gurl21 found me in a field when I was just a liltle fawn. It was Wednesday 14th August when I was born. I don't remember much. The thing I do remember is playing in a field. A huge field, with grass as far as the eye can see. I was enjoying myself so much. Too much. If I had have kept an eye out for danger the dredful moments that followed, might not have happaned...

I saw a faerie. Of course, I didn't know it was a faerie, I was young, only a few days old. I went to look at it, at her. She was so beautiful... She flew away, but then came back. Fluttering down like a magnificent butterfly, the earth faerie landed on my nose. She was going to bless me. I was nervous, as I didn't know what was happening. I would now have the power of the earth faerie in the battledome if the most terrible thing hadn't of happened... A blue lupe, tall, standing on his hind legs. That was the last thing I saw as he attacked the faerie. She screamed out as Balthazar forced her into a jar. I charged at him, but he was skilled in the dark battledome moves. He attacked me, and knocked me unconcious, laughing...

When I came round, I was in a strange place. No longer did the emence fields of Meridel surround me, but a neohome. I looked around me. I was scared. I wanted to go home. Everything was so unfamiliar to me. You see, I was raised in Meridel by wild Ixis. I had never seen a human, or any other neopet for that matter.

"Ah," said an unfamiliar, yet friendly voice. "Your awake. Do you know where you are?" I had no idea what the voice was saying. The best I could do was bark, like all wild Ixi do to talk.

"Bark?" I whimpered.

"Oh. You're a wild Ixi." the voice said calmly. "Alien_kitty, would you come in here please."

"Yes Gaby?" said yet another voice. This one was wise, much like the other, but more distant.

"Alien_kitty, can you talk to this Ixi?" asked the first voice.

"I can talk to all," replied the second. "Young Ixi"

At this point I got really frightened. The voice was in my head... I looked up. What I saw before me amazed me. A tall, eligant figure, standing on her hind legs. From what I was told by the other Ixis, she was a human. The other, the owner of the voice in my head, was strange to me. No description of this was like one I'd ever heard.

"Do not be afraid, young Ixi. You are on Mystery Island, on Tiki Tack Street, in the house of weirdo_gurl21, my owner. Her name is Gaby. You have been here for a week. You were badly injured. But come. You must eat. You can meet the other pets." She walked of in what must have been the direction of the dining room, so I followed her.

This is the point were I must stop and explain something. Weirdo_gurl21 is Gaby, as is gabyo, rainbow_dragon_fire and elentari_greenleaf. You see, in the neopian world, you are allowed up to four identities, and with each one you can have a different house. The house on mystery island is weirdo_gurl21's, and the house belong to gabyo is at 62581 Soup Alley, Neopia Central. That should clear a few things up and help you understand the next part of my story...

As I walked into the dining room I saw even more neopets types that I had never seen before. There were two horse like creatures. One was dark blue and had a tail instead of back legs. The other was a lighter blue and had wings. There was also a rabbit like neopets and a tiger like neopets. These four, as I later found out, belonged to gabyo. The neopets belonging to rainbow_dragon_fire were a small, blue bird and a cow like creature. I had seen these wandering around Meridel before. The first was a Pteri and the other was a Kau. I also found out that gaby had not yet had the need to use her other identity, elentari_greenleaf, for looking after a neopet, as she had spaces left in her other identities. She also wanted, and still wants to, bring a pet into that identity when she has some money in the bank under that name.

I had already met one of weirdo_gurl21's neopets. Her name was alien_kitty_2001. She had told me, on the way to dinner, that she was an aisha. But it was weirdo_gurl's other neopet that gave me the fright of my life. It was a dog like neopet, painted black. It reminded me too much of the lupe that had attacked me. But when it spoke I was not afraid anymore...

"Hello there," she said. I was amazed, I understood her! "Don't look so surprised. Alien_kitty has taught me alot of things since I have been here. One was how to talk to neopets who have not yet learned the common speech. But you will have to learn quick if you are to fit in." As she said this last part, she had a warning tone in her voice. But I did not know why.
