11/02/06 - Added some new pics of myself and my latest crochet projects.
8/11/06 - Won another contest at work and got myself an Ipod Nano. Yea for me!
7/30/06 - Been awhile since I've done anything with my site. Just added a new pic of myself and someone famous. 100 points if you know who he is.
5/9/06 - Added some more crochet project pics. Enjoy!
5/5/06 - Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Soon I hope to be selling some of my crochet and knit projects on eBay.
4/25/06 - If you've been here before, you can see that I've made some changes to the site. I'm changing the site to be less links and more me. Scary, I know. :o)
4/24/06 - Saw Rob Zombie on Saturday!
Finished a crochet purse tonight. It's really cute and may already have been purchased.
4/10/06 - Added a page for my Crochet Projects.
3/29/06 - Well, last year I was one of 5 people chosen as a Product Expert of the Year for Pottery Barn. Pretty big deal since there were about 150+ people competing for the title. Sooo... we finally got to go on our trip to San Francisco to meet with some of the Pottery Barn execs, designers and marketing team. It was a lot of fun. Quite a whirlwind trip! It was only a day trip and we visited 3 locations.
First was our Mariposa Office to meet with the designers and see the creative process. Got to see a lot of products showing up in future catalogs for 2007.
Next we went to the Van Ness office (our main corporate headquarters). We had lunch with Laurie Alber (President of Pottery barn) and Chuck Williams (our founder). During lunch we enjoyed interesting conversation and a view of the bay and Alcatraz from the company cafe in the Van Ness office. Chuck is an amazing man. His company Williams-Sonoma, Inc has been around for 50 years. It all started with his small store in Sonoma, CA. Even though he's 90 years old, he comes in everyday to oversee things and edit the new cookbooks going into the catalog/retail scene.
Lastly we went to the Ice House Building and met with some of the Marketing team. At this point we were a little behind schedule, so we were in and out pretty quickly, but not before a short Q & A. We got some insight on the path the PB catalog is going to take and they wanted to hear what the Sales Assoc's customers were saying about the current catalog. I'm kind of out of that scope seeing as how I process mail orders. I don't have the open line of communcation with our customer base.
All in all a very fun day. I am very glad I was able to go.
3/8/06 - Check out some Hemp Links if you'd like.
I've just been spring cleaning my site to make room for new stuff.
3/7/06 - Got a page of some of my knitted projects up and running now.
2/22/06 - Okay, I lied. I've had my laptop for a few weeks now and I still haven't put any knit pics on here. I will soon, damnit! Just found the necessary cable I needed to connect my digital camera to my computer.
So far I've knitted 4 scarves and I'm working on some wristwarmers for work. Sometimes it gets really cold in the office at night and my fingers freeze. Hopefully, the wristwarmer/fingerless gloves will help.
Haven't had much of a life lately, I know. Work, come home, watch Adult Swim and knit, sleep. Repeat the following day. Fun times.
1/16/06 - Gosh! Time flies when you're having fun. I've completed three knit scarves and working on my fourth currently. If I could put the needles down long enough to work on my site, I would.
Work is going fine. Life is good. If you care, I'll be updating again soon. Give me some feedback on my site if you feel so inspired. Toodles!
12/31/05 - Well, I'm doing great. Learning to knit! I'm so happy for myself. My first project is a striped scarf. I'm sure you'll be excited to know that I'll be putting my projects on the web when I get my laptop.
10/13/05 - I'm single again. James left on Sunday the 2nd. It's definitely for the better. I'm enjoying my space so much.
Still working on my crochet. Most my Christmas presents will be handmade this year. I'm almost done with all of them. Plus, I've been selling projects to some of my coworkers. Nice little way to make some extra cash.
06/23/05 - Well, to say it's been a while since an update is an understatement. Not having my own computer is not very helpful. Still living at my mom's house unfortunately. Now I'm looking for a part-time job to help with the bills so I can get the fuck outta here.
I was hired into the Order Processing Dept at work so I am MUCH happier with my job. It's much better than dealing with whiny customers on the phone all day. Now I just have to read their whines on paper. Much quieter.
I have come a long way in my crochet studies. Been workin my fingers to the bone. One of these days, I'll upload some images to my site, so if you care, you can see some of the work I've done.
Back in October, James and I went camping with my mom and her bitch in Utah. We stayed in Snow Canyon State Park just outside St George. Eventually, I'll get some images on here.
11/09/04 - Yea!! James got a job at McDonald's!! Finally someone will give him a chance! Things will be much improved from now on. Aside from my nagging mother. But what's new with that? She'll always be a nag.
10/22/04 - Well, I didn't think it would happen, but now we're at my mom's house. Our roomate from last time? Total pig and completely childish. So, back to moving again. We're almost done fortunately. We want out of that bitch's place ASAP. Unfortunately, I have to work with the skank. (Wish me luck.)
I think my mom and I will get along better this time. She's finally realized that James is in my life to stay. She'd better not refer to him as my "friend" again. That's irritating.
Living back at home; I'll be able to recoup a little. I can start dragging myself out of debt a little faster and enjoy less drama. James and I can have the stability we need. He's still looking for a job. If you have any openings or leads let us know! My Email's at the bottom of this page.
I'm changing departments at work temporarily for the peak season. I'll be in the cave known as "Order Processing". It should be a fun change of scenery. I don't have to be on the phones as much as I'll be entering paper orders sent in from customers and retail store associates for customers. I start training this Monday. I will miss my friends out on the sales floor though. At least I'll be out there again in January if I end up hating the new position or if they don't need me after peak. We'll see. Gotta go with the flow.
Well, thanks for taking a moment to read this crap. Wish us luck. We need it.
09/11/04 - God I'm getting old. They're right. Time does pass faster the older you get. We've moved yet again. We're living with a coworker of mine. Been there about a month now. Things are going okay. Just always broke as is the usual in my life. Send money!
It's hard to believe James and I have been together for a year now. This is the longest I've ever been in a relationship. And this time, the man loves me! What a change from my past. Unrequited love sucks, doesn't it.
I'm looking for a part-time job now. So if you know of any place where I could work like a 3-5 hour shift or something, let me know! I was thinking of night stocking or cashiering.
James is still looking for a job. So if you or anyone you know isn't overly biased about hiring a felon - Email me! It's so hard for him, because people judge him on the stupid mistakes he made when he was a kid. He served his time. It's time to move on.
My computer should be getting moved to our new place soon. Yea! Now I can keep up to date better. Because I'm sure my trials and tribulations are ever so exciting. Please. Notice the sarcasm. :o)
Well, that's it for now. Gotta head to work soon. Wish us luck! Send donations if you can. We need it. Remember, pay it forward.
06/27/04 - Moved yet again. Yuck! Moving sucks! Now James and I are at his parent's apartment. Couldn't take the shit at the other apartment anymore. Management and maintenance kept coming into our place when we were gone and stole little shit. Never stay at a Bigelow property! They are theives!!
At least these next two weeks will be nice. We're housesitting for my mom. So I'll be away from the dark, dingy, smoke-filled apartment of James' parents. Phew! Thank god!
Work is going good. Still work for Williams-Sonoma and it looks like I might be getting promoted soon. My new manager loves me and can see my potential. I could use the pay increase. So wish me luck!
06/02/04 - Wow... what a gap in time. Where has it all gone? I'm gettin old.
Hmmm... what's new... Our cat, Maggie, passed away on Friday morning the 21st of May. She went peacefully in her sleep. We think she was either 22 or 23 years old. Pretty ancient for a kitty.
My life is pretty much the same. Work, eat and sleep. And you know I always have to have some playtime in there too. I've just been nerdy as usual, working on my cross stitch kits. Finished a few. And now I'm getting hooked on Project Gotham Racing 2 on XBox. James' friends think it's weird that his girlfriend likes video games. They don't know this nerdy girl too well. I've been into video games and computer games for years.
Well, I can't think of anything else. I'm sure this wasn't very important to you. Thanks again for checking out my site!
02/14/04 - Well, I haven't been around lately. I moved out of my mom's house. Couldn't take her shit anymore. It's been pretty rough. I'm living with my boyfriend, James. We've lived together for a few weeks now and everything is going good. Just gettin strapped for cash. This move-out wasn't planned. It was supposed to happen "down-the-road". Don't know what else to say... so... yeah... Wish me luck. And send cash! J/k! (Not really. Money would be nice...)
01/27/04 - I finally bought a car! Yea!! It's a 99 Nissan Maxima SE Limited Edition. Got it from Planet Nissan 01/12/04. I finally have my freedom! (Which is why I haven't been online lately...)
8/13/03 - Grrr! I meet more psychos and idiots than I care to! But at least I have a fun job. I started working for the Williams-Sonoma Care Center July 12th. Love my job. I get to help customers shop! The 40% discount doesn't hurt either.

4/24/03 - Tonight we buried our dog, Tuffy. He now has a memorial on my site.
3/29/03 - Started reading "The Emporer Wears No Clothes - The Authoritative Historical Record of Cannabis and the Conspiracy Against Marijuana ...and How Hemp Can Save the World!" by Jack Herer. I highly recommend you pick up this book and read it. Our government wants to put an end to the most valuable natural resource we have! Why? Money. This plant can be grown practically everywhere and that scares big corporations and guess who they pay for? Our politicians. FREE HEMP NOW!
2/10/03 - ATTENTION ALL TATTOO ARTISTS: I'd like to someday get my first tattoo. Who would like to take my ink virginity? I need someone who knows something about art. It is to be original work. No flash. IM or Email me if interested.
2/24/02 - Fuck... Tonight The Oracle was killed. My friend, who shall remain nameless, accidentally let my baby fall to the ground and shatter. I am so heartbroken... The Oracle was so cool! You don't realize how attached you get to a piece til it's gone. If you'd like... you can put a little message on my guestbook or in my Email.
