Father May (played by Jay Watson) is a young Catholic priest, learning the art of performing exorcisms from Father Slater.
A very devote and orthodox priest, who always does what he thinks is right no matter what the danger or cost. He is very nervous and unsure of himself, pious, and orthodox and rather jumpy. He has very little experience in dealing with the supernatural, and is hopelessly out of his depth. When Kade first arrives he has no idea how much of a threat she is, but he doesn't want a silly woman creating unforeseen factors which could disrupt the exorcism. He thinks that she is there because she thinks exorcism is some cool freak circus show. |

His situations worsens when Kade starts invoking demons and the ghost inside Sam's dead body starts becoming violent.
His own faltering attempt at exorcising the ghost fails.
Then he realises that Father Slater's priorities may align him with Sam,
an unrepentant heretic.
But he knows his own loyalty to the church is absolute, and his faith in God unflinching. He also knows he must take action to stop the powerful and vicious Kade, but he has no idea how to stop her. |
