I'm an excellent driver...really...I am...[11/27/03]
Well...While visiting my grandparents in the middle of nowhere, my father decided to take me driving around town. I believe that I am indeed a fine driver...far from the best...well...waaaaaaaaay far from the best...but I do what I can. Anywho, everything was going fine, I come up to a stop light beside a gas station, and stop. There were two or three cars in front of me. So anyway, I'm sitting there, minding my own business, when suddenly my dad says "What's he doing!?". I looked out my window, and there was this giant white truck backing out of the gas station..so anyway, I give the horn a polite "beep-beep", but the truck keeps coming, a longer one this time: "beeeep-beeeep", and he keeps heading toward me, so I lay on the horn "BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!" and the guy keeps coming, the suddenly, "KAAAA-THUNK!". He hit me...Now, keep in mind that this is all taking place in a timeframe of around 5 seconds, so there wasn't anything I could do. So the guy pulls up into the parking lot, my father, somewhat red in the face, storms over to the truck, and we find that it is in fact a 90 year old man...so, after the cop got my permit number and such (that was right after he cackled when he found out I had only been driving for less than a month..), he sent me on my way assuring us that there was no possible way we could be at fault, and that my insurance rates would be fine...we'll see about that when bills come...
Anyway, that's about all the excitement I've got for you folks today, Later days!

Let the Pickles IGNITE!!![10/31/03]
That's right, In my chemistry class, it was annual Pickle Ignition day. Using a device he created, good Ol' Mr. Whitley sent electric current into the pickles, causing them to glow and spark (actually, it was pretty cool...)
Meanwhile, On the 29th, I hit the big 16! That's right, I got my Permit! Clear the roads! Nah..I'm an excellent driver...excellent driver. (Quoth the rainman.)

I don't really have a lot to say, but I just thought that it was important to post a short statement in remembrance of what occured two years ago. It still lies embedded in our hearts and minds, and will be there for years to come. I feel that everyone was affected in a way, some more than others. And our hearts go out to the victims of the tragedy, you have our deepest sympathy, and we hope you recieve the consolation and support that you may need on this day.

Homework...[8/14/03]
I apologize for my lack of involvement lately, but due to an ungodly amount of homework, the site has taken a backseat (how many times have you heard that one!?). Anyway, I hope to get back into the groove soon, hope is the keyword. Anyway, I have deduced that homework is half evil, here's my logic:
homework=requirement to graduate=helps you get a job=you use a job to make money; money=root of all evil.
Bah...must be the sleep deprivation, ignore all that...lol. Anyway, I'm out, curse essays...CURSE THEM!!!!! I'm calm...I'm calm...

Yep school started today...and I must say, being a sophomore isn't much different than being a freshmen...I mean sure, you don't get pushed around, and you aren't running around like a chicken with your head cut off (they had the whole front hall blocked off at the end of the day, I had to go out through the parking lot! Grrr...
Other than that, I have started converting other pages to this layout and color scheme, while it isnt pretty, it's what we're going with until we get a really good designer on the team.
I added a link for a site called Quickfry, it's run by a couple of friends, so check it out.

Hmm...Something has happened.... [8/13/03]
Yeah, alot of changes have been taking place lately, and until I
get the new layout all worked out, you're gonna have to deal with
this....mess. Now, to address the complaint that is almost certainly
going through your minds, this is the font, and I'm stickin with it! You
windows-ites and your fonts! Don't you realize that being on linux can
hinder the font selection! And Believe you me, I don't plan on going in
and downloading a bajillion fonts just for the sake of "1337-ness".
Grr...ok...</tangent>
Anyway, I would Like layout suggestions, you can direct them Here.
I have alot of big plans for Ryan's World, and they can't get jump
started while I'm broke. So please, at least look at the items in my store. Humor
me.
