After the Renault Clio was launched, the Renault 5 continued to be produced in 1.1L (4/5 speed) and 1.4L (5 speed) 3-door versions (with catalytic converter from September 1990). In June 1991 the five door models of the Renault 5 were discontinued.
From May 1991, a radio/cassette player was fitted as standard to the Renault 5. From 1992, the 1.4L 3-door Campus Prima continued, and is distinctive due to its black plastic side mouldings on the lower half of the body.
Production of the Renault 5 ceased in 1996 (N Registration).
