If you master moves, you do double damage and something special usually happens to it. For example, if you master KameHameHa, you can do the echoing thing when you charge, and it will do double damage. most moves change like that. You can master a maximum of 3 moves, and mastering previous moves will help with advancing moves. It takes as long of a time to master something as it would to learn it.
