Some info about the Crysler Prowler engines~
It has an aluminum block with a forged steel crank bedded in four main bearings. The heads and pistons are aluminum. The only problem i have with it is that the pistons and such are aluminum...easier to melt, which wouldnt be good. The steering: It has an 18:1 steering ratio, with 3.13 turns lock-to-lock for a concise, 38.5-foot turning diameter.
The AutoStick® is an ingenious feature in a four-speed with overdrive. As installed on Chrysler Prowler, it provides for driver control of all gear changes - up or down - with a simple flick of the wrist. When you select a gear, Prowler maintains that gear until it is manually changed. The engine management system uses a fuel shut-off feature to prevents over-revving. And for the gearheads…
