Kurt Donald Cobain , Born Febuary 20th , 1967 in Aberdeen. Washington, grew up a hyperactive child in a mid - class society area. At the age of 7, his parents were divorced. After the divorce he became very shy and difficult to deal with. After moving back and forth between both parents, they decided to move him to a clse relative's. 

As a child, Kurt enjoy to paint and sing. He also hung out with mostly girls. He is noted to sya that he sometimes felt more than a girl than a boy. ( "I'm a heterosexual ... big deal. But if I was a homsexual, it wouldn't matter either" ) 

Until the age of nine, he remembered listening to The Beatles and the Monkeys. He later began to listen to music like Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath and Kiss, as well as Bitish Alternative rock such as the Sex Pistols. On his 14th birthday he recieved his first guitar, which he began creating his own style of music with. He was also a roadie for a Seattle band called the Malvins. 

Nirvane formed in 1986, combining Kurt with Kirst Novaselic, who played Bass- guitar. Dave Gohl later joined the band after being introduced to Kurt by the vocalist from the Melvins. 

The recorded their first demo in 1988, which lead them to the recording and release of Blead a year later. The cost of Bleach was suprisinglingly only $600 to record. 

After releasing the second single, they recieved unsuccessful results, which caused them to switch record labels from Sub - Pop records to  Geffen Records. In 1991, Nirvane signed a deal with Geffen Records, and began to produce Nevermind.

Nevermind is released on September 24th, debuting on the hit charts at number 144.

Kurt hated the commerciallism that came with his fame from Nevermind. He often encouraged the fans to stop buying Nirvana records, and stop coming to their concerts. He often said that he thought most of the fan's were "fake fans" and onliy like " Smells Like Teen Spirit". Nirvane also perferred to play in small clubs, where the energy was more intense and intamate, unlike the arena's, where they were forced to play because of their bad habit of smashing their guitars and amp's. 

At this period of time, Kurt began using Heroin and Morphine. He also began describing himself as suicidal.

On January 24th, 1992, he married stripped Courtney Love in hawaii. Six months later, Courtney gave birth to Frances Bean. Press then began to claim Courtney used Heroin during pregnancy, which she ofcourse denied. 

During this time, Nirvana recorded Incesticide, which was a successful attempt to get rid of "fake fans".

In 1993, Nirvana recorded "In Utero". "In Utero" was recorded in two weeks, but released six months later due to the working title "IHate Myself and I Want To Die" which explained Kurt's suicidal tendancies.

In July of 1993, Kurt overdosed on Heroin, which caused Courtney to threaten to leave Kurt. Kurt finally agreed to enter a rehabilitation center, which he later escaped, saying that it wasn't a place for him.

Nirvana played their final concert on Mrch 29th, 1994. A week later, Kurt was hospitalized in a coma, which he woke from the day after. He left a few days later on his own will. 

On April 8th, 1994 , Kurt Cobain was found dead from a shotgun blast to his head, through the mouth, from 3 days earlier.
