Zap's Carried Weapons

Zap Osborne carries several weapons with him to either use as tools or to "get him out of trouble." Small things like his Colt semi-automatic pistol he carries with him at all times, larger weapons like his BAR are stowed away inside his airplane, only to be carried if the situation requires it. Zap, having a military background, will not hesitate in killing someone in self defense. But he hates killing people and will only fire a weapon at last resort and only then shoot to stop the attacker with a non-lethal wound. He kills only when there is no other way. His boomerang, though a toy not a weapon, is mentioned here because he will use it in a pinch to distract his persuers. Just like with his choice of aircraft, Zap loves choosing antique firearms for his personal weaponry.

Wood Boomerang

Zap Carries an "L" shaped wooden boomerang around as a form of entertainment. Unlike it's Hunting Stick cousins, a boomerang is not intended as a weapon. Intead Zap uses it to pass time, and he has become quite skilled at hitting empty pop cans with it and having it come back as well as becoming an accomplished player of the game "Aussie Round." Zap has been know at times to use his boomerang to form a diversion in a pinch, using it to make noise in the opposite direction of where he's hiding.
