The Magician's Nephew,
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,
The Horse and His Boy,
Prince Caspian,
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader,
The Silver Chair,
The Last BattleThe fact that these books were written by CS Lewis to put across Christian beliefs to the new generation often puts people off reading these books. However despite the fact that these books are written bearing strong Christian images and to convey the Christian message they are some of the most brilliant fantasy books that I've ever read. Unlike most children I never read them when I was young. The only book that I knew of in the series was The Lion, the Witch a end the Wardrobe. My 13 years of ignorance came to a halt last year when having nothing else to read I picked up The Magicians Nephew and I was off. The tales are classics are are know world wide; I know very few people who have never heard of Narnia, or Aslan.
I think it would spoil the story of these books to review them all in great detail; it would be naff and pointless so I won't attempt it. All I will say is that they are amazing books and everyone really needs to read them. So many authors have taken ideas from these books and aside from that they are truely brilliant pieces of literature.
