Chapter Fifteen

Raph and his brothers reach the long tunnel that Diana had first gone into.

"Woah...funkadelic..." Mikey says in an awed voice.

"No shit...c'mon...we gotta find Diana." Raph grumbles impatiently.

Leo places a hand on Raph's shoulder, holding him back briefly. "Raph...we proceed with stealth and caution, do you have any idea of where she is in this place?? I mean, it's massive!"

Raph looks at Leo. "I just know where she is...dunno how, I just...do.."

Leo blinks. "Lead on..."

Diana wakes up, or rather, comes to, a few hours later, groaning softly.

"Oh...ow...this hurts...." she whispers, biting back more tears, and struggling to sit in an upright position.

She looks around at her surroundings; she was in a small, dark cell. On the hard concrete floor, and she's colder than all get out, not to mention in a lot of pain. It takes her three tries to get into seza.

"Gods.." she mutters, "what did he do to m..." she pauses, closing her eyes, memories coming unbidden back to her. She clenches her jaw, opening her eyes again, seeing a dish of poorly made stale bread and a cup of water standing by the door. She looks at it suspiciously.

"Don't worry, Diana, that food is not poisoned, you're to useful to me alive," the deep, malevolent voice comes out of no where. Diana cringes, and then winces in pain, wondering belatedly where her sword got off to.

"I know you require food, pretty one, this is simply punishment for fighting me. You should really know better. I am by far more powerful than you are. You really have no place to fight your master," the voice goes on.

Diana feels rage building up within herself. "You're not my master!!! You have NO power over me!!! And I'll NEVER give into you!" She screams into the darkness, getting to her feet and then crying out as her knees buckle out from under her, the pain shooting through her body.

"Oh...so the concubine speaks. You will be trained to obey my every whim. And you will have my children. Have NO doubt about that." And with that she's alone.

Diana sighs, not touching the bread, not trusting it in the least, and taking a small sip of the water, seeing if she could taste anything bad in it. It seems safe to drink, and she knows she needs water to survive.

After she finishes the water, she gets painfully to her feet, and starts feeling around the walls, looking for a weakness, anything.

I gotta find a way outa this dump...before it kills me.... she thinks to herself, as she moves slowly around the room.

Meanwhile, in another part of the castle, four turtles are searching for Diana. One of them frowns, feeling something.

"Raph? 'Sup, bro?" Mike whispers.

"A feeling.." Raph responds gruffly, softly. "I think we should go this way."

"Well Raph, your feelings haven't led us into any trouble yet...why ruin a good thing?" Leo whispers. Don nods.

At that Raph and the rest back up against the wall. Raph unsheaths a sai and slowly swings open the door. Then he steps inside, cautiously, looking around.

"Coast is clear guys..." Raph whispers, the others filtering in.

Suddenly they stop dead.

"Is that what I think it is?" Don asks incredulously.

"Hai.." Leo says and Raph picks up the katana with the jewels imbedded in the hilt.

"Diana's sword..." Raph says softly, while he holds the sword in both his hands. "Maybe it will help us find her..."

"Yeah," Don says, "I don't know how well she's being treated...but...I think we're in for some action!" Don shouts as guards start pouring in.
