Part XI

Within the hour, everyone is gathered in Serenity's royal meeting hall, standing before the Queen and Princess of the Moon and the Prince of Earth.

"We are all very happy to have you four back," she smiles at Diana and HLM, "some of us more than others," the two women blush as Serenity continues, "if you four feel up to it, there will be a Ball in your honor tonight."

Everyone looks to Kunzite who has always been looked upon as the Leader of the Guardians.

"It would be a great honor, my Queen, and a good reminder of how things are meant to be," he says in his deep voice, a tad more formal than usual.

"Good, we will see you all there. Dismissed."

Kunzite and Zoisite return to their rooms.

As soon as the door's closed, two things happen. Zoi drops the illusion spell used to make her appear as she did when she was male, and Kunz sweeps her into his arms, giving her a passionate kiss.

"Koibito," he whispers, "our plan is working perfectly! Those stupid humans have no idea what we're really doing."

Zoi smiles up at her lover, whispering back, "Hai, but they will soon find out! Queen Beryl will be pleased."

"She will be," Kunz whispers, leaning down to nibble at Zoi's neck, "but now, I would like to pleasure you."

Zoi moans softly, shivering in pleasure as Kunz removes her uniform top and bra.

"I wonder," she moans as he gently kneads her breasts with his hands, "if making love as a female will be any different from making love as a male."

Kunz leans in close, sliding a hand down her pants, making her moan again, louder, and whispering softly, "We'll just have to find out then, won't we?"

Diana emerges from her shower and wraps herself in a towel, taking another to dry her hair with.

When she steps out of the bathroom, she finds Jae sitting at a window in just a pair of pants and staring out of it with a disturbingly cold, distant look in his eyes.

She sits by him and looks at him with concern.

After a few moments of silence, she says softly, "Jae?"

Jae stays quiet, unblinking.

"Jae, come on," she places her hands on his bare shoulders, "snap out of it! You're frightening me!"

Still nothing.

She shakes him slightly and is taken completely by surprise when he suddenly tosses her across the room, sending her crashing into the
wall.

She groans softly as she slides to the floor and lies there, totally stunned for a few moments.

Meanwhile, Jae snaps out of his trance-like state and leaps to Diana's side, gathering her into his arms.

"Diana! Oh gods, I'm sorry! Please be alright!"

The words tumble out of his mouth with frantic worry as Diana shakes her head, clearing it.

"I'm ok, love. I'm ok, just a little stunned is all. What happened?"

"I...I don't know. I was looking out the window and I guess I just sort of went into a trance. Then I felt you shaking my shoulders and I guess I thought I was back in the Dark Kingdom. I just reacted," he hugs her tight, "Are you sure I didn't hurt you?"

Diana nods and hugs him back, kissing his cheek.

"Like I said, I'm ok, and I'm glad that's all it was."

Jae grins, finding once again that he can't stay serious when he's around this beautiful lady.

"Hmm, are you sure? I mean, maybe I should take a look," he says, tracing the curve of her shoulder with a fingertip, after settling her a little more comfortably on his lap.

Diana grins,  "You just want to peek down the towel."

Jae grins more broadly.

"Well, hai, that too. But who wouldn't?"

Diana giggles softly.

"Why settle for a peek when I'd let you have a good look?" she asks with a grin as she stands up and lets the towel fall to the floor.

Jae looks at her and grins, being careful not to drool.

"Question," Jae says.

"Hai?" Diana asks, grinning and noticing the growing swelling appearing in his pants.

"Are you working on a 'look but don't touch' policy?"

"For you? No, you can touch me as much, wherever, and however you want to," she replies with a grin.

Jae grins and stands.  He moves gracefully over to her and puts his hands on her shoulders, kissing her tenderly.

She kisses back, tilting her head up as he kisses his way down her chest.

As he kisses down her body to taste her heat, he knows that after the Ball tonight, they might not be able to be together again for a very
long time.
