I don't remember this well enough to rate it.

This ran for two seasons, from 1985-87. It was created by Stephen J. Cannell, and starred Nick Mancuso. I'm not sure how much of it I actually saw. And it's one of various shows I know I saw before I had access to the network it was on, so I'm not sure how I saw it. Maybe it was on a Canadian station, or maybe it was on my CBS affiliate, sometime after prime time. Anyway, I don't remember it well, but I'm sure I liked it. Mancuso played a guy called Ray, who drove a Corvette Sting Ray, and helped people in exchange for favors, which would generally be called in later, to help other people with their problems, in exchange for favors. So... Ray is one of those characters, like The Equalizer, who I wouldn't really call a detective, but provided a somewhat similar service. And I don't know what else to tell you.
