Max Monroe: Loose Cannon, on CBS
IMDb; TV.com; TV Tango; Wikipedia

This was a very short-lived series, in 1990. (IMDb says 8 episodes, Wikipedia says 5; I have no idea which is right.) I don't remember much of anything about it, except that Shadoe Stevens (probably best known as the host of the radio countdown American Top 40) played a cop named Max Monroe... the kind of rule-breaking smart-aleck character who, you know, is called a "loose cannon." He seemed to enjoy this behavior, I think he really amused himself. And I liked the character, as well. But it probably wasn't really a good show, and it's not much of a shame that it didn't last long. But still... I thought I should at least mention that I watched it, and I liked it, at the time.
