I don't remember this well enough to rate it.

This didn't last long (only 13 episodes, and I don't think they all aired), and I don't remember it well. So I should probably put it under "too something," but... I definitely intend to get it on DVD someday, and write a proper review. I suppose I could just as well call it "action/adventure," but... there are some definite fantasy elements to it. So, whatever.

Um... how to describe it? There was this young man named Conor (Heath Ledger). He was like this orphaned Celtic prince, who led a band of people in trying to unite the various tribes of Ireland, sometime around A.D. 400, in order to fight off the invading Romans. The show was far from historically accurate, but I thought it was pretty cool. The main nemesis was a Roman centurion named Longinus, who had been cursed by God for killing Jesus, centuries earlier. Now he basically wants to die, and the only way to do that is with the Spear of Destiny, if he could find it. But meanwhile, I guess he was still helping the Romans in their conquest of the world. The show mixes plenty of Christian and Druidic stuff. And I dunno what else to say. Like I said, hopefully someday I'll write a proper review.
