This section is for most genres of pop music, including pop rock, bubblegum, J-pop, etc. It may overlap to some degree with "rock & roll" or just plain "rock", but it will be softer than "hard rock". There will be some subgenres of pop that I instead list under other primary genres, like "rap", "alternative", punk, "country", "dance", etc.
