Vivi Ornitier
How do you prove that we exist? Maybe we don't exist... The cute litte guy.
Vivi, the clumsy little mage who has no idea why he’s here or how he got here. He’s hands down the cutest thing in the entire game. Vivi also seems to get into trouble a lot, poor little guy. Really, just a lot of pity for him. Aww… but he’s so CUTE! Squee! Overall, Vivi’s the most loveable character.

Adelbert Steiner
Having sworn fealty, must I spend my life in servitude?
The up tight knight.
Steiner’s funny, in an embarrassing sort of way. He’s got a one-track mind, protect the princess. He also dislikes Zidane, but kinda warms up to him over the course of the game. Overall, he’s the most boring, though can sometimes be funny, character.

Garnet Til Alexandros 17th/Dagger
Someday I will be queen, but I will always be myslef.
The reluctant royalty.
In the beginning, her role is pretty trite; actually, it really stays that way. She’s the royalty who wants to be a commoner. Either way, Dagger is quite a nice character to have around. She’s pretty and happy, and of course, since she’s Zidane significant other, bad things happen to her. Her adoptive mother also sucks; the Queen’s an ugly blue blob. The whole plot about where she came from is also quite interesting, upping her rank of goodness. Dagger’s hair also loked really cool when she cut it. Overall, Dagger’s the prettiest character.

Freija/Freya Crescent
To be forgotten is worse than death.
The girl with the spear.
Freija’s cool. That just sums her up. Though some may wish to disagree, you cannot, because she is. She’s got an awesome spear and personality wise she seems all icy and stuff, but really she’s a caring person who’s heart’s been broken. Freija’s whole side-story with Flately is really cool too. Come on, she throws spears! In her trance thing she stays in the air and throws spears, which is fun. Overall, Freija’s the coolest character.

Eiko Carol
I don't wanna be alone anymore...
The little lonely girl.
Poor little Eiko has had nothing but moogles to keep her company for so many years, and though moogles are fun, she’s longed for human contact. So, she very excited when Zidane and co. come to her little place. Eiko’s cute, how’s she all little and stuff. Her feeling towards Zidane also add bunches of comic relief. Overall, she’s the cutest human character.

Quina Quen
I do what I want! You have problem?
The “It”.
A female? A male? No one knows, it’s just a Quina. It’s quite funny though, and catching frogs with Quina is fun, though extremely frustrating after a while. Quina’s also cool when it come to it being able to eat things you fight, that is fun fun fun. Also in the game, it’s hilarious when Quina has to marry Vivi. Overall, Quina’s the most weirdly funny character.

Salamander/Amarant Coral
The only dependable thing about the future is uncertainty.
The Mexican mop-head.
Um… not much to say on him. Why is he called Mexican here? He just seems like it. He doesn’t talk much, and something is growing out of his brain. Overall, he’s the most useless character.
