Travels

Beltane, Guardian of Doorways, Paths, Passages, and Webrings

I gaze out on the open plains
Through the fog that coats the moor.
I decide I want to daydream,
To open the magical door.
I find a spot and lay there.
I stare up at the sky.
I let my imagination wander.
I feel like I can fly.
I speed along with comets,
And I gaze up at the stars.
Then I fall down to the city
Where I swerve among the cars.
I climb the highest mountain
With the balance of the goat.
Then it's back to the middle ages
When I attempt to cross a moat.
Then I travel to the future,
To see lights and wonders galore.....
I open my eyes and I am back
In my spot on the barren moor.
Your mind can take you where you want to go,
Let you be what you want to be.
And all you have to do is one simple thing:
Let your imagination fly free.
