One of my favorite trees is the Hedge tree, also known as the Osage Orange tree. One of the reasons that this tree is one of my favorite trees, is because it can tell the weather. In spring when it buds out it will wait until all chance of frost is gone. From what I was told by an older gentalman this tree is one of the only trees that is not fooled by Mother Nature. Makes for a nice tree to have around.
