I sit in the darkness
i see a bonsai
its shape lost and wandering
its contours changed by the
ill lit corridors of the night
imprisoned in clouded light
the moon finaly escaping the
crackling rustle of the trees
it wanders aimlessly
about the sky
setting an ever fading line between
the light and the darkness
shining on everything as if smiling at itself
alone together we talk silently
of past eternities
in the distance a shooting star
whistling inaudably
as it whittles through the darkened air around it
the moon bids farewell
and dissapears into a
corridor of
wildly pruned clouds
the darkness surrounds me
