SAN FRANCISCO STORM BASEBALL
Cesar Izturis and Josh Bolen Dominating FEBL
By Jerry Palmer
SF Chronicle Staff

It is amazing when you look at the San Francisco Storm team. You see powerful hitting players dominating the ranks in the FEBL in the San Francisco franchise. The only problem is that the Storm are nowhere near first place and the pitching this year is to blame. Even though it is too late into the season to comeback and help, Josh Bolen is doing that. Bolen has pitched amazingly since returning from his stint with the Chico Heat AAA Team. Bolen this year is now 8-11 with a 4.85 ERA, but if that is improvement from before, this year he has thrown 3 complete games and 2 Being Shut-Outs which is 2nd in the entire FEBL this year. On the hitting side for the Storm, Cesar Izturis has been killing them all. For his second straight 100+ RBI season this year, Izturis has added 24 dingers as well. The Storm have looked good in the end portion of the season and have called up a lot of players to fill it to a 40 roster team to gain more experience. .
