My brother and I were originally given a collection of lead soldiers in the early 1950's. Sadly very few of these have survived to the present day. The forty odd soldiers that did survive form the basis of my collection which I recommenced during a trip to UK in the mid 1990's.

My original aim was to collect marching bands but, as with all collectors, my interest has expanded into all types of lead soldiers. These have been purchased over the years from antique shops, toy fairs, ebay and other collectors.
