Q:
How do I overcome my uncontrollable appetite?
A:
If you have problems with
your discipline and controlling your appetite, always remember that nothing
tastes as good as being in the greatest shape of your life feels!
Also remember, it's just food. You
control it, it doesn't control you You
have the discipline and power- you just have to use it!
Another thing that will help you
in your moments of weakness is to make sure your kitchen is empty of the
tempting junk foods like cookies, donuts, etc.
Try not to buy those foods to begin with - if you're going to have them
on your free day, make sure they are completely out of the house by the time
your free day is over.
If you "mess up" and
eat too much one day - completely fall off
the horse, so to speak - just put it behind you.
Don't give up just because you had a bad day.
Even if you miss a few workouts, just put it behind you.
Don't give up, giving up is like driving along in your car, having one
tire go flat, and then getting our and slashing the other three as a solution.
It just doesn't make sense.
Another thing that might help is to set
some realistic goals for yourself. Write
them down and tell other people about them.
Write it down, think about it often, and keep track of your progress.
Then, when you reach your goals, set new ones.
This is VERY important.
