Your Diet Plan:  Keeping a food diary and just trying to eat healthier, giving up soda pop for the second time. (Gave it up a few years ago) Also trying to eliminate sugar and fat as much as possible. No more junk food. Also reading a lot of weight-loss books and always looking for new information and ideas. 
Your Fitness Plan: 
What diet plans have you used in the past?  
Too many different herbal supplements to mention. Walk-Aerobics. Lost 40 lbs several years ago, recently gained back 20
Why do you want to lose weight?
I have already wasted enough years of my life being overweight, out of shape, embarrassed by the way I look, unhappy with myself, my life, and generally just letting life pass me by.   I don't want the health problems my mother had (diabetes and kidney failure).  I look at my mother-in-law hardly able to walk because her knees are so far gone. I don't want to end up like her either. Also I would like to be able to take my grandkids roller-skating, and I want to be able to wear shorts and tank tops and look good in them. Plain and simple: I'm tired of looking like the Goodyear Blimp, and I'm tired of ducking and hiding at every family event to stay out of the way of the camera happy relatives.

January 14, 2002 - Lost 4 pounds.

Jan 14, 2002 - I have decided to change my eating plan.  I am going to try doing really low-carb for a few weeks.  Still trying to eat with lean proteins, low carb vegetables, and really watching portion control.

January 21, 2002 - I lost 3 pounds.
