Ok, this is my soap box but I have to tell you all, Slim-fast is not the
way to go. Let me tell you why, hear me out.
Ok, when you are dieting, and we all are, our goal is to lose FAT not
retain it or make new fat. We have to cut our calorie intake, watch our
carbohydrate intake, cut our sugars, eat lean proteins and eat a lot of vegetables
and a few fruits. Slim-fast is not apart of that unless you want to add
the sugar and the carbs to your diet which will in turn be stored as fat. I will compare a few below.
All of these are in powder form and mixed with non-fat milk or are
premixed. It will tell you.

**Some of you might say... "But the Soy Based are made with fruit
juice!"... well I need to point out.. that it is only 6% fruit juice!!!
The EAS protein powder mixed with 8 ounces of non-fat milks outranks the
Slimfast by far. The protein outweighs the sugars and the carbs.
What this means is that your body will be able to maintain your blood sugar and
allow the proteins to help move the sugars and carbs through your body as energy
and not be stored as fat.
I apologize about being on a soap box.. but I hear
all the time, "WHY CAN'T I LOSE WEIGHT? I AM DRINKING A SLIM FAST
TWICE DAILY AND EATING A SENSIBLE MEAL FOR DINNER!!" My
answer is always the same... You are taking in too many carbs and sugars with
not enough protein. Your body is in a high but is not able to burn it off
before you go to bed so it stores it as fat. Also, if you are not eating
enough calories, well then your body just stores everything thinking it is in
famine. Get out of that rut. Change your eating habits. Let me
help you. I always give them the speech about eating 5-6 meals per day and
to switch to a better supplement. I preach about EAS only because it is
what I prefer. If you can find another protein powder that is comparable..
drink it.
