Positive Impacts on Humanity

If our predictions concerning vaccines and genetically modified organisms to fight disease came true, humanity would benefit greatly by gaining the ability to treat and defend a much larger portion of it’s population against disease. The era of unaffordable or simply unavailable medicine would be almost completely a thing of the past. The poorest of the poor countries would be able to make medication available to their citizens. This is true even for the rich countries, such as the U.S.A., which is the home for many who cannot of will not receive medicine due to it’s high cost. The integration of vaccines into horticultural products and the use of genetically modified products to prevent disease would completely change the landscape of modern medicine, but the greatest benefit would be reaped by the poorest of the poor.

Another way that humanity would benefit from the realization of these predictions would be the whole new vigor and public appreciation that would be witnessed in the world of farming and horticulture. The result of this would be greater funding for horticultural research and teaching, and more support for the farming community, who would finally be appreciated after a hard era of apathy displayed by both political and business interests.
