The Kidd is a newly improved eTw star who has been with us since the beginning. He first started out in the “Kids Wrestling Federation” with Super Kool Sydistik Sam. The fed wasn’t all that successful, until Extreme Tacoma Wrestling picked them up; this was the beginning of the eTw era…
On the first official eTw show, The Kidd lost to his tag partner Super Kool in the first round of the eTw Universal title tourney. Some have speculated that since the Kidd’s feet were on the ropes, and Super Kool went on to face Special K for the Universal title, The Kidd, if not cheated out of this victory, may have been able to become Universal Champ that very night. But this was not to be, instead Kidd took a different route, beating Justin Sane (AKA The Rage Justin Cage, Former eTw Champ) and Platinum K Dogg for the Tacoma Championship, which he lost to “Duct Tape Dude” at eTw Show 6, and was sidelined with an injury.
The Kidd’s return to the ring was made 3 shows later at “eTw Breakdown” where he became SK’s Mystery Partner to defeat The Jackal and The Late Richard Paretta, The Great Milenko. The Kidd went on to win the Tacoma title once again at the very next event, from Bazaar. Later that same show, Kidd was approached by Awesome Aaron Thomas, Kidd ended up throwing a Tortilla at AAT, and a Match was started. Kidd put up a great fight against “The Awesome One”, but Aaron just pulled the victory and acted as if Kidd was nothing but an insect.
Since Then the Kidd has had many accomplishments, he won a match at Wrestlestock 2001, and became eTw hardcore champion. But now we’ve entered a new era in eTw, one where The Kidd has been lying in wait to make his return, and at the Richard Paretta Memorial show, everyone saw what he could do when he destroyed Psycotik, and nearly defeated RP Memorial Cup Winner Solar. There is no doubt that The Kidd will be one of the major power players in the race for the Universal title, and I’m sure his dream will come true soon, with the new “Season” of Extreme Tacoma Wrestling coming up, who knows what could happen…
