Veterans News

From The Commander

The siding is done. The windows are in. If you haven’t been to the post lately, come by and see the difference. We still have some work to do like painting the trim, new gutters, new porch roof on the small building, and a ramp on the front and rear. We will need to do some fund raisers to get the rest of the work done so it will take a while to finish. The next project will be the front porch roof and ramp followed by gutters and painting. Since NOBODY wanted to help prepare the buildings for the siding, NOBODY will be asked to help with the rest of the work. It is your post home and you should be more than willing to make it better instead of complaining about how it is being done. If you know how to do something jump in and get involved. Otherwise keep your complaints and why didn’ts to yourself. We will not refuse any legitimate help from anyone. A big thank-you goes to Russ for all the help he gave.

Elections are over and congratulations go to all the new officers.

The Senior Vice will become your new commander and is already getting into taking over the control of the organization. I encourage all new officers to do the utmost to get your required projects don and help Mike get his work done. JUST REMEMBER, YOU ACCEPTED THE JOB, BE SURE TO DO IT IN A SOBER AND PROFFESSIONAL MANNER.
