30 years played an unusual show on the 23rd at kamiak unplugged night, all acoustic, it went really good they played with local bands and musicians such as Rockefeller, Mike Blackburn, and Justin Hopkins.

Well, how long has it been since we've had any news up eh? So let me jump into it. We have been writing like mad, a new song and a complete revision of The Day The Strength Of Men Failed! So be expecting that at the show on June first and also... Maybe... Possibly... Our studio EP. Due to the lack of music on the site Brenden will be putting up a shitty unmastered version of Chain Wallet, Nike Shoes. But maybe some of you will like it anyway, just try to imagine the vocals much better sounding and the drums louder. Well, the show on June 1st once again is the time we're gonna need you guys to show up to. For directions go to www.theyakroom.com We may be doing some kind of tail gate party before or after the show. So if you go bring Chips and Salsa! Hey there everyone! So we played at the church and we'd like to thank all the kids who came out to see us play. The set was extremely high energy. As for news, our EP will not be released... As it turns out, we're gonna be going in the studio to re-record it. So we'll try to have that CD out by June, but we may post up an MP3 of Chain Wallet, Nike Shoes from the EP we're not releasing. So check that out, also we put up a lyrics page so you can all school yourself up and scream along at the shows. Show up June 1st at the Yak Room. Also, the show on the 14th is now on the 21st and it's a Tribune show! Well, that's all for now! LATER!

the church show was a fun time, maudlin, rockefeller, 30 years, and tribune played, exhausting night for andrew and thomas, well exhausting night for everyone, it was fun, all except that the sound system was fucked up so somestuff was messed up, but thats ok, check out the pictures section for some photos of the show, and stay tuned for some more stuff.

Hello again from The 30 Years War! It's about time we update this site, so here's what is going on... As for the EP, we've been hard at work this weekend recording and mixing it. At the least to say I'm sleep deprived. The record is sounding very good though, it should be finished by the church show. But again, no promises! If not by then, than it will be released at the show at the trap on the 14th. Another change for that show, the cover charge is now only $3.00, or $2.00 w/asb. So come out and support us there! One more thing, we will be adding a lyrics section in the next few days for the songs on the EP, so stay tuned for that and come sing along at our shows. Well, that's all for now kids!

Well, hello there again kids! Thanks to all of you who have been coming and looking at our site, we'll have some pictures up within the next week hopefully! As for the band we started recording out first record this past Thursday! Andrew cut some amazing drum tracks and I screwed around with my guitars all night. As for Tim and Mike their sessions will be taking place today! So no promises but we should have the CD at the show on the 6th. The track list includes:

Greetings from The 30 Years War. We have been back in the lab and have written 3 new songs. Mirrors Are More Fun Than Television, The Tears of Green Eyed Angels, and a brand new song without a name. We've been booking shows like crazy as of late. We're playing April 6th & 7th, May 25, and June 1st. The show on the 1st is a really big thing so everyone make sure you check it out.
